Overview

Membership Benefits allow you to offer exclusive privileges to your members—either through access-based benefits or discount-based benefits.
These benefits determine what your members can do once they’ve subscribed and how they interact with your services and products.

In Omnify, benefits are divided into two main types:

  • Access Benefits – control what members can access

  • Discount Benefits – apply special pricing or discounts

This article explains both types in detail, along with examples and best practices for setting them up.

Access Benefits

What It Does

Access Benefits define where and how a member can use their membership.
You can restrict or grant access to specific services, products, or programs.

Where to Find It

Go to Dashboard → Memberships → Create or Edit Membership → Add Access Benefit

“Unlimited access to all classes”

  • All Services & Products

Includes all services plus any retail products you offer.

“Access to all services and merchandise”

  • Selected Services & Products

Restrict access to certain items or categories.

“Access only to yoga and meditation classes”

Booking Restrictions

Limit the number of bookings a member can make per time period.

“2 classes per week” or “5 bookings per month”

Use Cases

  • Gym or Studio Memberships
Grant access to specific class categories (e.g., Yoga Only Membership or Full Gym Access).

  • Tiered Access Plans
Create Bronze, Silver, and Gold plans with increasing access levels.

  • Family Memberships
Apply booking limits per family member to manage shared usage.

Best Practices

✅ Use Selected Services & Products to control access for specialized programs.
✅ Always define a Booking Restriction if you want to avoid unlimited reservations.
✅ Combine Access Benefits with Discounts to reward members for loyalty.

💰 Discount Benefits

What It Does

Discount Benefits automatically apply a special rate when members make a booking or purchase.
These can be percentage-based (e.g., 20% off) or fixed price discounts (e.g., $10 off).

Go to Dashboard → Memberships → Create or Edit Membership → Add Discount Benefit
