What is Auto-Recover?

Sometimes, recurring payments don't go as expected. It's a common issue, especially with multiple clients on recurring billing. Things like expired cards, blocked cards, network problems, or not enough funds can cause payment troubles, leading to potential revenue loss. Clients may not know about these issues until they see it on their credit card statements. Omnify’s Auto-Recover steps in to automatically fix these payment problems, ensuring a smoother experience for businesses and their clients.

Here’s how Omnify’s Auto-Recover Feature can Help:

Omnify's Auto-Recover automatically tries failed payments again, saving time and increasing revenue. Helps keep the customers informed about payment issues through email reminders and if all payment retries fail, the subscriptions are canceled automatically for easy and hassle-free management. However, even with Auto-Recover enabled, the booking won't show on the service store profile page until the customer's class pack is paid.

This feature is exclusive to subscriptions with active auto-renewal, applicable only for "Stripe" payments, and valid for Accelerate, and Scale users.

To activate Payment Dunning:

  • Navigate to settings and select “Payments” → Click on “Stripe.”

  • Look for the link titled “Setup Payment Dunning” under this section.

  • Click the link to open a side panel showcasing Auto-recover settings.

  • Within this panel, specify the number of days for payment retries.

For example:

  • Retry 1 day after the initial attempt.

  • The retry frequency can be set for a maximum of 3 attempts.

  • If all the attempts have failed to make payment, the subscription will be automatically canceled, ensuring smooth subscription management.
