Step 5: Provide a name and choose whether this break applies to all services or just selected ones. This determines which schedules the break will affect.

Step 6: Configure Break Duration. Set the start date and time, as well as the end date and time for the break. This specifies the exact window when the break takes effect.

Step 7: Choose What Happens for Confirmed Attendees If there are schedules with confirmed attendees during this break time, decide what action to take. Choose to issue makeup credits or simply remove attendees with no further action.

That’s it! You’ve successfully set up a break, ensuring accurate scheduling and smooth operation for your team.

Breaks Listing

The Break listing table contains the break name and the services on which the break applies, and the break's validity column shows the start and end times of the break. You can edit, disable, or delete a break from here.

The disabled breaks are greyed out and have a "Disabled" tag on them.

Things to Note

  • Breaks are like black-out intervals of time on your calendars, and their primary purpose is to disable your end clients from making reservations with you.

  • When a break is created, the services that have been already booked in the break interval are not canceled automatically. You have to go to Frontdesk to cancel the bookings that fall under the window of the breaks or use Additional Actions for Class bookings, so a Make-up credit or reversal of the credit can be done.
